Tree platform, Christinehof Eco Park, 2011
This viewing platform represents the transition from the formal house setting to the forest. I designed and built the whole construction with oak from the surrounding forest.
The large platform overlooks the surrounding forest. It is positioned around two very large oak trees and sits within sight of wetlands and forest. The walkway is made from willow, daub, larch plank then dressed with forest floor.The entrance is sided with log ends set into the structure, some with carved images.
