Russian-style Dacha, RHS Cardiff Flower Show 2014, Silver Award
I built the charming “Dacha”, a shed made of recycled materials, at the Cardiff Flower Show.
The Dacha was the centre-piece of this garden. I built it from recycled materials, for instance the roof was built using old car bonnets, cut into squares. The edgings along the ridge and eaves I designed with inspiration from old Russian buildings. They were cut out from reclaimed timber.
